Angela Rauch's research work revolves around vocational rehabilitation within the legal sphere of the SGB III and SGB II (initial integration and reintegration) as well as severely disabled people on the labour market.

Professional career
Having studied social sciences in Nuremberg (Dipl.-Sozialwirtin), Angela Rauch then worked for the Städtische Werke (Public Utilities) Nuremberg within the framework of a lean management project prior to joining IAB in 1994 as a researcher.
