Professional career

Ms Schmucker was a student of the social sciences at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg (Dipl.-Sozialwirtin). From 1999 to 2004 she worked as a researcher at the Institute on Liberal Professions (Institut für Freie Berufe) also at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg. She joined the research staff of the Data Research Centre of the Federal Employment Agency at IAB in August 2004.
