Professional career
Florian Janik completed his studies in social sciences at the Friedrich Alexander University of Erlangen-Nuremberg in 2005 (Diplom-Sozialwirt (Univ.) ). After that he worked as a researcher for the Chair of Sociology at the School of Business and Economics (WiSo) of the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg. Florian Janik has been on the research staff of IAB since October 2005. He was first employed in the "Establishments and Employment" Research Area, then as of 2009 in "Education and Employment over the Life Course". He completed his doctorate on "The company-level perspective: Labour market analyses using the IAB Establishment Panel" in 2010.
