Professional career
Enzo Weber graduated in economics and finished his PhD at Freie Universität Berlin. At the same place, he was teaching and research assistant at the institute of statistics and econometrics. He participated in the Collaborative Research Center 649 "Economic Risk" at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and visited the Japan Center for Economic Research. He held a postdoctoral position at Universität Mannheim and is consultant and research affiliate of BE Berlin Economics. In 2009, he was appointed to the junior professorship of economics at Universität Regensburg. Prof. Weber was staff member of the directorate at the Institute for Employment Research (IAB) and is a research fellow of the Osteuropa-Institut Regensburg. Since 2011 he holds the chair of empirical economics at Universität Regensburg and is at the head of the research department "Forecasts and Structural Analyses" at IAB.
