Professional career
Friedrich Poeschel holds a B.Sc. in Economics and Economic History from the London School of Economics where he studied from 2001 to 2004. In 2006, he completed the M.Phil. Economics at the University of Oxford and stayed until 2009 to study for a doctorate in economics, also visiting the Ecole Normale Supérieure in Paris for a semester. In the academic year 2009/2010, he worked on a Marie-Curie project on migration at the University of Rome "Tor Vergata". In 2010/2011, he was Robert Solow Postdoctoral Fellow at the Ecole Polytechnique. Mr Poeschel has been a member of the department "Active Labour Market Policies and Integration" since September 2011.
