How and where you can find us

IAB is situated in the building of the former main customs office in the grounds of the Federal Employment Agency (Bundesagentur für Arbeit) in D-90478 Nuremberg, Weddigenstrasse 20 - 22.

To reach our offices, please read the following instructions.

You will be arriving

• by train
• by air
• by car.

You can reach us from Nuremberg Main Station (Hauptbahnhof Nürnberg) as follows:

• Arrival at Nuremberg Main Station
• In front, and slightly to the right of the station, take a No. 9 tram in the direction of the Dokumentationszentrum and get out at the stop called "Meistersingerhalle". On the left-hand side of the tramstop in the direction of travel, you will see the junction with the Weddigenstrasse
• The IAB is situated in the Weddigenstrasse about 100 m further on, on the left.

You can reach us from Nuremberg Airport (Flughafen Nürnberg) as follows:

• Arrival at Nuremberg Airport
• Take the underground train (U-Bahn) No. 2 as far as Nuremberg Main Station (Hauptbahnhof Nürnberg)
• Then take the No. 9 tram in the direction of the Dokumentationszentrum and get out at the stop called "Meistersingerhalle". On the left-hand side of the tramstop in the direction of travel, you will see the junction with the Weddigenstrasse
• The IAB is situated in the Weddigenstrasse about 100 m further on, on the left.

You can reach us by car as follows:

From the direction of Munich (A9) or Berlin (A9):

• Take the exit Nürnberg-Fischbach
• Drive along the Regensburger Strasse as far as the Federal Employment Agency (Bundesagentur für Arbeit) whose large building complex can be seen on the left-hand side from far away
• When you are level with the Federal Employment Agency, turn left and backwards at the traffic lights so you are travelling in the opposite direction
• Drive past the Federal Employment Agency and turn right into the Weddigenstrasse
• The IAB is situated about 150 m further on, on the right.

From the direction of Würzburg (A3) or Bamberg (A73):

• Drive from Würzburg to the motorway junction (AB-Kreuz) Fürth/Erlangen
• Take the A73 in the direction of Nürnberg (Frankenschnellweg)
• Once you have crossed the Schwabacher Strasse, turn left into Landgrabenstrasse
• Continue straight ahead along the Wölckernstrasse
• Continue straight ahead along the Schweigger-/Harsdörfferstrasse
• Drive straight ahead along the Regensburger Strasse as far as the Federal Employment Agency (Bundesagentur für Arbeit)
• Drive past the Federal Employment Agency and turn right into the Weddigenstrasse
• The IAB is situated about 150 m further on, on the right.
