Professional career
Having completed her M.A. in communication sciences, political science and law at the Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich, Dr Kleinert was a researcher at the German Youth Institute in the project "DJI Youth Survey", from 1995 to 2000. From 2000 to 2003 she worked at the Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich on her doctorate in sociology and as a research associate on a project dealing with occupational careers in an international insurance group. Dr Kleinert joined the research staff of IAB in 2003.
