Elke Jahn is Professor of Labour Economics at the University of Bayreuth. She completed her Ph.D at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg in 2001 on the economic theory of employment protection legislation. In 2010 she habilitated at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg on flexible employment relationships and migration. From September 2006 to August 2007 she was Visiting Scholar at the Minda de Gunzburg Center for European Studies at Harvard University, Cambridge, USA; from December 2007 to December 2009 she was Associate Professor at the Aarhus School of Business, University of Aarhus (Denmark). Elke Jahn is a Fellow of the Labor and Socio-Economic Research Center (LASER) of the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, Research Fellow of the Institute for the Study of Labor, (IZA), Bonn, and Visiting Associate Professor at Aarhus University.
