Professional career
Dr. Thomas Kruppe is senior researcher and head of the research group "further vocational training". He studied at Technical University Berlin and Free University Berlin (1992: M.A. in sociology) , where he received his doctoral degree in sociology (Dr. phil.) in 2003.
From 1992 to 1997 he was Junior Research Fellow and from 1998 to 2000 Associate Fellow Social Science Research Centre Berlin (WZB). From 1994 to 2000 he also was Research Fellow and Head of Data Management at the Institute of Applied Socio Economics (I.A.S.), Berlin. Between 2001 and 2003 he acted as External Collaborator, International Labour Organisation (ILO).
