Gef├Ârderte Altersteilzeit: Ende in Sicht

Even if elderly persons are still a problematic group on the labour market, their employment and unemployment rates show that much has improved recently. This is good news, as demographic change leads to a shrinking and ageing labour force potential. We are thus dependent on a higher employment participation of the elderly. Furthermore, there is not only a quantitative problem, but also the issue of a loss in quality. Especially the labour force of medium and higher age possesses a good qualification structure. Thus, there are many an argument in favour of designing the legal frame such that employees participate in employment as long and actively as possible.
