Die Entwicklung der Beschäftigung in Hamburg - Anzeichen für eine Spaltung des Arbeitsmarktes?

"The third conference on social scission took place in Hamburg in February 2012 'Working in Hamburg. Developments and Social Consequences'. When the conference was announced, it was said: 'Never before have there been so many jobs as today. Many sectors are short of skilled workers. At the same time fewer and fewer persons can live adequately from their work because jobs are of fixed term, of limited duration or badly paid. Precarious employment seems to be the normal working relationship now. Upheavals in the sphere of work seem to mean that gainful employment contributes less and less to social integration. This change in the world of work thus deepens the scission in society.' This research paper discusses possible scission tendencies on the Hamburg labour market using empirical data on the development of employment and unemployment." (author's abstract, IAB-Doku) ((en))
