Bonuszahlungen an Manager

"A good 50% of employees view bonus payments to managers in their company as unfair. This is shown by a new, representative survey on which this article is based. The aim of the survey was to find out what the causes are for bonus payments being judged to be fair or unfair. In addition it was asked whether, and under which circumstances, bonus payments lead to (negative) in-house effects such as, for instance, the refusal to cooperate with the management or a drop in work motivation? What is explained in particular is how distribution criteria, such as the level of the bonus payments and the criteria of fairness of the contribution, influence judgements as regards fairness along with the in-house effects that are observed, not however the characteristics of the so-called procedural fairness such as the state of being informed or the possibilities of participation."
