Beruflicher Werdegang
Maye Ehab ist seit 2022 wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin am IAB und Lehrbeauftragte an der Otto-Friedrich-Universität Bamberg. Ehab hat an der Universität Bamberg promoviert. Zuvor studierte sie Ökonomie (MA) an der American University in Kairo.
Sie hatte verschiedene Positionen am Ägyptischen Zentrum für Wirtschaftsstudien (ECES) in Kairo und bei der Ägyptischen Competition Authority (ECA) und arbeitete als Gastwissenschaftlerin bei der UNCTAD in Genf. Ihre Forschungsinteressen liegen in den Bereichen Geschlechterungleichheiten und Arbeitsmarktergebnisse. Ihre jüngsten Veröffentlichungen befassen sich mit Geschlechterungleichheiten und der Erwerbsbeteiligung von Frauen, geografischer Mobilität sowie Arbeitsplatzqualität und Gesundheitsergebnissen.
